The snowy hills of Ladakh do not matter to the Indian Army, which has the experience of expelling Pakistani infiltrators from the 18 thousand feet high snow peaks in Kargil. China does not seem to be over the cold days at the moment, so the army has prepared itself with the intention of taking a front with the Chinese even in the cold days. Indian forces specializing in high altitude war zones of Ladakh are deployed. NCR Hindi Samachar with latest update.
The same Indian troops have been deployed on the snowy hills of Ladakh, which has a real experience of living in (-) 50 degree centigrade on the glacier in Siachen, the world's tallest and coldest war zone. On the contrary, no Chinese soldier has the actual training to live in (-) 50 degrees centigrade in an Antarctic-like situation. This has been possible because the Indian Army has taken care of it in formulating its strategy. In fact, Indian soldiers have been engaged in anti-terrorism operations every day in the Kashmir valley for the past 3 decades. In terms of preparedness for lengthy deployment on lac, the Ministry of Defence has also started arrangements for the soldiers by calculating food items, housing, fuel, special clothes, shoes as well as additional soldiers and vehicles.
In the case of high altitude warfare, experts believe that India is making an edge over China. A report by the Belfer Centre for Science and International Affairs of the Howard Kennedy School states that Indian armed forces in the Himalayan range can defeat the Chinese army and prove the experts wrong that India is lagging behind China in military power. On paper, even though China may look stronger than India, indian troops are better equipped and trained to fight in a very cold climate. China has a bigger defence budget than India, but war is fought with the spirit of more combat jawans than money. China may have more weapons, but India is ahead in the experience of fighting war in the cold. India has about 3.4 million troops while China has 2.7 million.
The Belfer Centre for Science and International Affairs at Harvard Kennedy School also says that India's air force is better than China due to better operational capabilities. Mirage-2000 and Sukhoi-30 have brought the Indian Air Force to the lead from China's J-10, J-11 and Sukhoi-27 fighter jets. India also has multirole aircraft used in all weather, while China has this capacity only in J-10. Now, India has a powerful fighter fighter jet like Rafael, which fits according to the Ladakh border with snowy hills. Rafael is a multi-role fighter aircraft that can also descend into less space on the mountains. Rafael's height capacity is 300 metres per second, which also beat China-Pakistan aircraft.
India has more experience of fighting war than China as three wars with Pakistan have also been fought. On the other hand, China fought the last war against Vietnam in 1979. When it comes to high altitude warfare, the Indian Army looks better than China. India has many aircraft capable of flying at high altitudes, while Chinese pilots have to fly due to tough weather conditions at their airbase in Tibet with limited supplies and fuel. On the other hand, Indian supply bases are near the LAC with favourable weather conditions. On the other hand, China has been badly entangled in opening the front with many countries at the same time.
Maj Gen Jagatbir Singh (retd) points out that the responsibility of the soldiers stationed on the snowy hills of Ladakh is manifold more challenging. These temperatures and altitudes are not only enemy issues, but also weather and health. It becomes more difficult for them to arrange food when all the roads are closed due to snowfall. It is only the resort of a transport ship, so a post of air is made in the air so that the food supply is dropped by aircraft or helicopters. Hot food is given in high-altitude areas. There are also some soldiers who survive on tined food. The responsibility of eating enough clothes or food to keep the soldiers stationed at the forward posts in the harsh winter increases the various headquarters of the army, command, corps, area, division and brigade. This includes sleeping bags, coats, shoes and woolen trousers and of course goggles and gloves.
Major General points out that one of the most essential things for soldiers stationed on the snowy peaks is his place of living. Soldiers cannot stay in the open when the temperature falls below minus 40 degrees at night. t shirts for men , It is also very important to arrange ice or Arctic tents for high altitude soldiers. Additional troops have to be arranged for exchange as the forward post cannot be left vacant. Sometimes weapons are answered because of the cold, and separate posts and workshops have to be set up to repair them. In addition, there is a major medical facility in the requirements for which medical aid posts, advanced dressing stations have to be created so that the soldiers can get immediate treatment. The Indian Army has been testing all these procedures and systems from time to time to ensure that frontline troops do not suffer any kind of problems.
