State President Order Gupta said that the farmers of the country are getting stronger and prosperous today under the leadership of Hon'ble Prime Minister Narendra Modiji. He said that in six decades of rule, the Congress joined the middlemen instead of the farmers and the Congress prime Minister also accepted corruption. After the Modi government came, direct benefit transfer was provided to the farmers, and the farmers are getting direct benefit of the schemes. The farmers are partners in the development of the country and realizing their anguish, the Modi government enacted the new agricultural law, and gave a permanent solution to the problems of farmers. Earlier also, through a number of schemes like Kisan credit card scheme, crop insurance scheme, Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, the Modi government benefited the farmers and now work towards doubling their income through agricultural laws.
Delhi BJP co-incharge Dr. Alka Gurjar said that the opposition is misleading the farmers for their personal selfishness over the agricultural law. Neither the MSP regime has been discontinued nor the Mandis, the Modi government is ready for amendment with suggestions. The three new agricultural laws, exploited by the commissions and middlemen for years, will bring their rights to the farmers. He said, the Congress party, which is opposing the agriculture law, had talked about the implementation of the bill in the manifesto of 2019 which said that the Congress would repeal the Mandis. Will arrange for trade in agricultural products including exports and inter-state trade which will be exempt from all restrictions. He said that there is also a provision of one nation-forest market through the agriculture law led by the Modi government under which the farmer can sell the crop anywhere. Stating the benefit of contract farming, he said that the agreement made by the farmer will only contract the crop, not his land. At the same time, only the farmer will have the right to grow crops in the field.
MP Manoj Tiwari said that the opposition parties are only spreading confusion in the name of MSP and agricultural law. While through the agricultural law, the farmers will get the right to sell the crop anywhere in or outside the farmer for more profit. He said the Modi government has increased the MSP by 150 per cent. The Congress did not implement the Dr. Swaminathan report but the Modi government has implemented it in the interest of farmers. Pension facility was provided to farmers above 60 years of age. He said that the crop of farmers was procured through virtual medium during the Corona period. 65% more crop has been procured than before. The agricultural law is in the interest of the farmers, but the opposition is doing irresponsible movements.
State Kisan Morcha President Vinod Sahrawat said that every farmer in Delhi is happy with the coming of the agriculture law today and thanking Modiji for this. Chief Minister Kejriwal, who has been in Delhi for the last six years, never thought in the interest of the farmers but had a step-motherly treatment. Now, the Kejriwal government and his ministers are pretending to be farmer-friendly but are not going to be deceived by the farmers of Delhi. Several village farmers including state Kisan Morcha President Vinod Sahrawat, state spokesperson Brijesh Rai, District President Mohan Goyal, corporation councillor Anil Tyagi, Gulab Singh Rathore, Sanjay Tyagi, Hitendra Tyagi, Kalpana Jha, Rajpal Rana, Line Sinha were present on the occasion.
